The Monash University Low FODMAP Certification Program is the original testing body of foods and products for FODMAPs. It was established in 2014 due to overwhelming consumer demand for low FODMAP products, unsurprising given that irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which a low FODMAP diet is designed to treat, affects 1 in 7 adults.
